«Ο Νίκος Παππάς έκανε ακριβώς το καθήκον του. Οργάνωσε το τηλεοπτικό τοπίο και έφερε χρήματα στα δημόσια ταμεία», τόνισε η εκπρόσωπος Τύπου του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ-Προοδευτική Συμμαχία, Πόπη Τσαπανίδου, μιλώντας στην πρωινή εκπομπή του «ΑΝΤ1».

«Μέχρι τότε δεν υπήρχε πλαίσιο, όροι και προϋποθέσεις στο τηλεοπτικό τοπίο, αυτό έκανε ο Νίκος Παππάς, ενώ έφερε και χρήματα στο Δημόσιο και διασφαλίστηκαν θέσεις εργασίας. Συνήθως στα Ειδικά Δικαστήρια πηγαίνουν άνθρωποι που έχουν καταχραστεί δημόσιο χρήμα, που έχουν πάρει μίζες… Με τον κ. Παππά έγινε το ακριβώς αντίθετο, δεν πήρε χρήματα, αντίθετα έφερε χρήματα με το διαγωνισμό για τις τηλεοπτικές άδειες. Αυτοί που έχουν κανάλια πλήρωσαν για τις συχνότητες, κάτι που δεν έκαναν ποτέ στο παρελθόν», σημείωσε η Πόπη Τσαπανίδου.

Άραγε, το πλαίσιο το οποίο έθεσε ο Νίκος Παππάς για σωστή λειτουργία των καναλιών είναι η απευθείας χρηματοδότηση των καναλιών για την πλήρη στήριξη της εκάστοτε της κυβέρνησης; Αλλά έχει και την πλάκα της η κυρία Πόπη. Λίγες ώρες μετά την απόφαση της δικαιοσύνης για 2 χρόνια φυλάκιση του Νίκου του Παππά, να λέει η κυρία Πόπη ότι ο Παππάς έκανε το καθήκον του.
