Qatargate: Ξεκινά η ακρόαση στο Εφετείο για τα αιτήματα αποφυλάκισης των Καϊλή και Ταραμπέλα

Ξεκινά σήμερα η εξέταση της έφεσης της Εύας Καϊλή και του Μαρκ Ταραμπέλα.

Σύμφωνα με τους συνηγόρους των δύο ευρωβουλευτών που φέρονται να εμπλέκονται στο σκάνδαλο Qatargate, οι Καϊλή και Ταραμπέλλα βρίσκονται στο δικαστικό μέγαρο των Βρυξελλών.

Από νωρίς βρίσκονται στα δικαστήρια οι κ.κ. κύριοι Δημητρακόπουλος και Ντελκουάν, από την πλευρά της Εύας Καϊλή και ο κ. Τόλερ από την πλευρά του κ. Ταραμπέλα.

Το Εφετείο των Βρυξελλών θα εξετάσει αν η Εύα Καϊλή θα παραμείνει υπό κράτηση ή όχι, όπως επιβεβαίωσε στο ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ εκπρόσωπος του Εφετείου Βρυξελλών, επισημαίνοντας ότι πρόκειται για μια «κεκλεισμένων των θυρών» ακρόαση. Εξάλλου, το Εφετείο θα εξετάσει το αίτημα αποφυλάκισης και του Βέλγου ευρωβουλευτή, Μαρκ Ταραμπέλα.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι μετά την απόφαση του προδικαστικού συμβουλίου, στις 16 Φεβρουαρίου, να παραταθεί κατά δύο μήνες η προφυλάκιση της Εύας Καϊλή, ο συνήγορός της Σβεν Μαρί άσκησε έφεση, η οποία βάσει της διαδικασίας εκδικάζεται εντός 15 ημερών. Το ίδιο είχε πράξει και ο συνήγορος του κ. Ταραμπέλα.

Η υπεράσπιση της Εύας Καϊλή θα ζητήσει την αποφυλάκισή της με ηλεκτρονικό βραχιολάκι. Σε περίπτωση που η απόφαση του Εφετείου είναι αρνητική, η κ. Καϊλή θα παραμείνει προφυλακιστέα για δύο μήνες.
